BIO

Andres Kudacki is a photographer, born in Argentina. He is based in Stockholm since 2019 after living in New York, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, and the United Kingdom, and began working with the Associated Press in 2008. His work has appeared in many world-renowned publications such as New York Magazine, Time Magazine, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Guardian, Los Angeles Times, Corriere della Sera, Global and Mail, The Wall Street Journal, Paris Match Financial Times, The Telegraph, Politiken and Le Monde, among others.

In 2014, Picture of the Year International (POYI) awarded him third place for an Issue Reporting Picture Story for his work on Spain’s housing crisis. He was also given an Istanbul Photo Award second place for a News Story, First Finalist of Luis Valtuena award, four Atlanta Seminar awards for a second place in Features and a third place for Sport Story in 2014 and first place for Sport story and Honorable mention in Features story in 2015, an Honorable mention in NPPA’s Best Of Photojournalism Awards 2014, a Pictorical Second place in st Of Photojournalism Awards 2016, a Second place for Economic Story in the China International Press Photo Contest 2016 (CHIPP), finalist of the National Association of Iconographers awards, First Place at ANI National Association of Iconographers Pixpalace Award, ANIGP “Enrique Meneses” Award News Story First Prize and Spanish National Photojournalism Award 2015, Second prize, a third place for Road to Office story and honorable mention for Road to Office singles in NPPA’s Best Of Photojournalism Awards 2017. In 2018, Istanbul Photo Awards awarded him second place on Nature & Environment category for his work on Puerto Rico and and NPPA’s Best Of Photojournalism Awards awarded him with a Third place in the News Picture Story category in the US, Third Place on International Features and an Honorable Mention on News category for US.
.In 2017 Picture of the Year Latam (POYLatam) awarded him as a top three Photographers of the Year at Pictures of the Year POY LATAM contest and receiving 4 awards: Photographer of the year Third Place, First place and Honorable mention in Traditions and Religion stories and Honorable Mention at News stories.
